Sometimes the NFL drives me crazy with it’s television broadcast rules. In my opinion the rule about your home team having to sell out seats in order for the local market to see that game on TV makes no sense at all. The rule that drives me insane is the one where no game is shown on TV opposite the game for the local team. I mean people move and they may not always like the local team, then what do you do? I’m not moving back to Wisconsin just to see the Packers play! And, thank goodness I don’t live the Dallas/Austin area, at least the Cardinals don’t stir much emotion.
Having said that, I’ve found a great website that maps out the entire broadcast schedule. This way you know what games will be on Sunday and plan accordingly. The die hard fan already knows the schedule by heart, but for the rest of us it’s a great website. Enjoy.

One word: DirectTV NFL Sunday Ticket.
OK, so that’s 3 or 4 words depending on if you consider “NFL” a word.
The only game you DON’T get are local team games that are not sold out.
I flip through all the games constantly. Drives my wife batty. If there is ever a game you must see that isn’t regularly televised, come on over!

Buy a dish and you’ll never be bored again … you also may want to retain a divorce attorney, depending on the wife’s penchant for football.

Jay and Jonathan,
I know what you mean - getting a dish would solve my problem. I think getting it past my wife is hard, plus, I’m not really too interested in all the games. I’ve got a few teams I’d like to see - and the premier games. That’s all. 8 months out of the year my TV isn’t even turned on.
