Ron Paul and Jim Cramer: Theater, Comedy or, Politics?

Mortgage and monetary policy as political football? Or is this a comedy show? Jim Cramer interviews Rep Ron Paul. A unified chorus of spite towards the Federal Reserve. Some justified, some not, but all in all politics as theater in the name of the people.

I’m already ready for January 21, 2009 and it’s not even 2008 yet!

Cramer can make points but this video made me cringe. Paul is much more relaxed and seems able to discuss it calmly while Jim’s yelling.. it’s like good cop bad cop agreeing on the same thing :o

Regardless though, I do like the questioning of the reserve. I’m not an economics grad, but we’re definitely in a time and place where careful thought needs to be given to the issue. Mishandling our money at this stage could mean critical financial disaster for our economy and housing market :(

    Eric,

Good point. I don’t like Cramer’s yelling and shouting, but the “good cop, bad cop” thing is pretty observent.

    Thanks for stopping by.
