I only know of one lender who still does 80/20 loans. Their requirments are pretty tight (higher FICO, more assets etc.) and the rate on the second is very very high. The better option for 100% these days is FHA. Its really the only way to go at this point.</description>

It seems 100% financing will not be easily available, one has to satisfy a lot of factors involved considering the upcoming market scenario. But what about the 80/20 mortgages specifically? will they be available still and are lenders currently looking for any special criteria to approve such loans?
